FC&PA
offers a comprehensive list of preferred certified
concrete contractors in the state of Florida that
have earned "ACI Certified Flatwork Finisher"
and or "NRMCA Certified Pervious Concrete Contractor"
status in accordance with Florida Concrete & Products
Association's Parking Lot Partnering Program.
To
qualify as an FC&PA Certified Finisher, an individual
person must have at least three years of experience
in placing and finishing concrete pavement and hold
either the FC&PA or ACI certification. (FC&PA
honors ACI's certification.)

Special
Note:
To ensure quality concrete construction for durability and
long-term performing pavements, the FC&PA recommends
a Pre-Placement meeting with all parties involved, including
but not limited to landscaping contractors, especially when
the project is involved pervious concrete. During this meeting,
it is important to verify that the individuals who will
oversee and direct the placing and finishing operations
be present and that they are either an ACI Certified Flatwork
Finisher or equivalent for conventional concrete paving
or an NRMCA Certified Pervious Concrete Contractor for pervious
concrete paving. (Contact the FC&PA for additional recommendations
